Zahra

Zahra carries a small lantern wherever she goes.

She says it reminds her that knowledge is a light — a little one at first, but it grows. Her favourite moments are the quiet ones: the morning calm, a kind word given to a stranger, the feeling after helping someone without being asked.

"Good deeds are like the lantern," she says. "One can light another, and another, until the whole room is bright."

Zahra is gentle, but she is not shy. She believes a good heart is the bravest thing of all.
