In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation, the Arabic version prevails for users residing in Morocco; the French version prevails for users in other French-speaking jurisdictions.

This policy applies only to the current pre-launch coming-soon page. A separate, more comprehensive privacy policy will govern the main learning platform when it launches on September 1, 2026.

• Browser type and operating system (in general terms, without identifying you)

• Approximate country derived from IP address (statistics only)

Important note: We do not ask children for any personal information. This pre-launch page is intended exclusively for adults: parents, guardians, and school administrators.

3. Why We Collect This Data

We collect your data only for specific and legitimate purposes:

(a) To notify you of the Malak Al-Ilm launch on September 1, 2026, and to communicate with you about this launch.

(b) If you represent an educational institution: to coordinate the Founding Schools Program with you and grant your institution priority access to the platform.

(c) To protect our site from automated submissions and fraudulent use (anti-spam).

(d) To understand in general how visitors reach our site and improve the user experience (without individual tracking).

Legal basis for processing:

• Explicit consent (Law 09-08, art. 4; GDPR, art. 6(1)(a)): when submitting the form, you are required to check a consent box. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

• Legitimate interest (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)): for spam prevention and site security.

We will not use your data for any other purpose without your prior explicit consent.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your data only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:

• Form data (name, email, and related information): retained until the launch date of the platform (September 1, 2026), and for a maximum of 12 months after launch, unless you request earlier deletion.

• Technical data (IP address and related information): automatically deleted within 90 days of the visit.

• If you request deletion of your data at any time, we commit to deleting it within 30 days of receiving your request, retaining only what is legally required (such as consent records for compliance evidence purposes).

After the retention period ends, data is securely and irreversibly deleted.

5. Third Parties We Work With

To operate this site, we work with a limited number of service providers. Each has its own privacy policy, and none is permitted to use your data for other purposes:

6. Where Your Data Is Stored

During the pre-launch phase (current period):

Cloudflare hosts our website and maintains a data center in Casablanca that serves Moroccan visitors. However, as Cloudflare is a company registered in the United States, your data may be processed via servers located outside Morocco.

Emails submitted via the form are stored on Zoho's servers (India and European Union).

Cross-border data transfer — Notice:

When submitting the form, your data may be transferred outside the Kingdom of Morocco to countries that may not provide the same level of protection as Moroccan Law 09-08. These countries include: the United States (Cloudflare), the European Union and the United Kingdom (Zoho, Plausible), and India (Zoho).

Legal and technical safeguards have been implemented to protect your data during transfer, including:

• Full encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)

• Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with each service provider

• Compliance with European protection standards (GDPR) by relevant providers

By checking the consent box and submitting the form, you acknowledge that you have been informed of this transfer and grant us your explicit consent in accordance with Article 43 of Law 09-08.

After the official launch (September 2026):

We plan to migrate production data storage to servers located in Morocco (Moroccan service provider approved by the competent authorities), to ensure full data sovereignty for Moroccan users.

7. Your Rights

Under Moroccan Law 09-08 and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
